{Poised} for Breakthrough - Abba's Girls Retreat 2017

Poised. Established. Audacious. Bold. Arrayed. Positioned. This is exactly how we left the Abba's girls retreat this year. God broke through this year for the women at the retreat in a deep and profound way, challenging us to get ready for what He is about to do this year in each of our lives.

The first night we looked at women in the Bible such as Rahab, Mary, Elizabeth and Esther. They were poised for their time to shift history, as are we! The next morning we looked at ways to position ourselves for breakthrough: speaking our promises over our hearts, healing heartsickness with a longing only for Jesus, singing before the breakthrough comes, expanding our tent pegs (Isaiah 54) and removing all hesitation and fear. In the final teachings we were commissioned to let go of all that hinders us, stay in our own lane (no comparisons) and know why we are where God has us right now! Every new revelation was like honey flowing from God's heart to His daughters!

The worship also brought such waves of refreshing and new hope as we all came together to set our hearts and faces toward Jesus. From the very first worship time until the end, explosions of color danced across the canvases I had brought and even now I am breath-taken at what God revealed through His creativity! I can't wait to share with you the new images created during the worship time and ask the Lord to reveal more of His heart as they become available!
